Room Rates
Our rates are based on double occupancy and include a full breakfast each morning. Currently we do not have a minimum requirement on night stays. Rates are subject to a 12% Transient Occupancy Tax of Sutter Creek and a 2% Tourism District Tax. Rates and stay requirements may change at management’s discretion.

Check In & Check Out
Check-in is from 3:00pm to 6:00pm but we can usually accommodate an earlier or later check in - just let us know! If you arrive later, we’ll provide information for an easy self check-in. Check-out is at 11:00am.

Breakfast Program
We serve a full breakfast every day and our menu changes daily. We feature farm-fresh eggs from our family hens, seasonal fruit, house made scones and other baked goods, Stumptown coffee and local ingredients from the Farmers Market, whenever we can. Coffee and baked goods are available starting around 7am in the parlor and we usually serve breakfast around 9am.

Deposit & Cancellations
A one-night deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance automatically charged the day of your arrival.
Cancellations within 5 days of arrival will be charged 50% of the total booked room rate. Cancellations within 2 days of arrival will be charged 100% of the total booked room rate.

Smoking & Damages
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including guest rooms, outdoor decks, patios, and gardens. Guests who smoke in rooms will be charged a minimum $350 cleaning and repair fee. The final charge will include all actual costs plus any lost income.
Guests are responsible for excessive cleaning, damages, or breakage of the inn’s property. Final charges will be based on documented costs plus any lost income.

Housekeeping
For your privacy and comfort, we do not enter or turn over rooms during your stay. If you are staying for more than one night, we kindly ask that you re-use towels when possible. If you need fresh linens, additional towels, or a restock of in-room amenities, please call or message us, and we’ll be happy to assist you! We kindly ask that you turn off all lights, air conditioning systems, and fireplaces when you are not in the room. Your help in conserving these valuable resources is greatly appreciated!

Accessibility & Pet Policy
Because Brinnwood is a historic building, none of our rooms are ADA compliant. We have one room - The Honeymoon Suite - located on the ground floor for those with mobility concerns. All our other rooms require climbing stairs.
Pets are not permitted, except for service animals as defined by the ADA. Service animals must have proper identification upon check-in. Please call us ahead of time if you need to bring your Service Animal.

Children & Extra Guests
Brinnwood is a historic property with many antique elements, steep stairs and sharp edges, making it best suited for adults. Additionally, all of our rooms only have one bed and are meant for double occupancy. However, Brinnwood is a family first and foremost and as parents ourselves (and with two young ones living on the property) we understand that traveling with children is sometimes necessary.
- Children under 4 are permitted at no additional charge. We have one pack-and-play crib available upon request.
- Children 5 and up will incur a $30 charge for the cost of breakfast and a floor bed will be provided.
- We kindly ask that you keep a close watch on children, as the property contains delicate antiques and sharp corners.

Our Family & Home
We are a family of four living on the property with our two young boys. While we generally keep to our private quarters and avoid guest areas, you may occasionally hear little footsteps in the parlor or catch a glimpse of a blonde head in the garden.
If you are seeking a completely child-free environment, we completely understand — but this may not be the perfect fit for you.
We also have two cats that stay exclusively in our private quarters. If you have a severe cat allergy, please be aware of the risk.
